ADRs & Mixed, IMI and Mediobanca Banca di Credito Finanziario Trade Actively

International stock trading in New York closed mixed on Friday.

The S&P/BNY Mellon Index for US Depository Receipts rose 0.2% to 140.60. The European index rose 0.9% to 132.82, the Asian index fell 0.9% to 169.01, the Latin American index rose 0.6% to 183.52 and the emerging market index declined 1.6% to 283.08.

IMI PLC and Mediobanca Banca di Credito Finanziario SpA were among the companies with ADRs that actively traded.

IMI’s ADR rose 6.7% after the UK-based specialist engineering company said that for the six months ended June 30, revenue grew by 7.2%. The board also proposed an interim 5% dividend increase.

Mediobanca Banca di Credito Finanziario SpA’s ADRs increased 2.7% after its fourth quarter revenue from EUR664.8 million to EUR703.7 million (US$719.6 million), as consumer finance loans increased 9%.

International Consolidated Airlines Group SA’s ADRs fell 2%. The company said on Friday that it made a return to profit in the second quarter for the first time since the pandemic began.
