Alpine F1 confirms OSCAR will start free practice sessions at PIASTRI Spa or Monza
Just confirmed during the FIA press conference held at the Hungaroring Formula 1 event in Budapest, Alpine Formula One team sporting director Alan Permann, when asked when Oscar Piastri would make his first appearance in the FP1 season, said, “We are our Going to see the Oscars in the car either at Spa or Monza”. He didn’t want to say anything more, but it has finally been confirmed that we will soon be seeing the young Australian star in action in a current spec car.
Who will take that seat first in the Alpine A522 is yet to be confirmed, but the test of a rookie driver will require both drivers to surrender at least one FP1 session this year.
