Hublot, the world’s top watchmaker, now accepts bitcoin, shiba inu and other crypto for payment via BitPay

Hublot has become the latest luxury brand to accept crypto payments.

In a blog post, blockchain payments firm BitPay revealed that Hublot now accepts crypto payments for its luxury watches on Hublot’s online e-boutique. The offering includes some of the most iconic pieces from the brand.

“Hubot, the renowned watch maker known for unique and adventurous timepieces, announced that it will accept cryptocurrency through its online e-boutique.” Bitpay wrote. “Many of its iconic watches, including the newly released Big Bang Unico Essential Grey, are available for purchase online and can be purchased with cryptocurrency through BitPay.”

Users can make these purchases using Bitpay in very simple steps. First, users need to visit the official Hublot website, select the wristwatch they wish to purchase, and at checkout, choose to pay using BitPay. At this point, users will need to select their preferred crypto asset from a list of 13 popular cryptocurrencies including favorites such as bitcoin and shiba inu. They can then select their crypto wallet and make the payment.

According to the Bitpay blog post:

  • “Shop with any crypto wallet on Hublot e-Boutique.
  • Use a BitPay card at any authorized Hublot dealer where MasterCard is accepted.
  • Hublot accepts cryptocurrencies up to USD $30,000 per transaction through Bitpay.

Specifically, BitPay users will be able to purchase watches such as Big Bang Unico Essential Grey, Classic Fusion Bronze Brass and Big Bang Unico UEFA Champions League.

Bitpay has become very popular among crypto lovers as it has become a reliable means of buying multiple items using their favorite crypto. Recently, the options have expanded to include Apple devices and flight tickets.

Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Wrapped Bitcoin are some of the other altcoins with BitPay support.
