Answer – Joint Information System (JIS)
Explanation – The Joint Information System is the fourth institution in charge of the NIMS Command and Coordination, and it is more often referred to as JIS.
During the operations of an incident, JIS merges incident information and public affairs into a cohesive organisation that offers information that is consistent, coordinated, accurate, accessible, fast, and comprehensive. This information is provided to the public and stakeholders. The ICS, EOC, and MAC Group are the additional NIMS Command and Coordination entities that the JIS works across and provides support for.
